On insults and Babbling

John Kerry babbles in Congress; he babbles in political debate; and he continues to babble insults aimed at America’s Military men and women who are, as we write, fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq to protect us from avowed enemies.

Mr. Kerry has, without a doubt, a severe case of diarrhea of the mouth. He proved this in his insulting lies when he appeared before Congressional hearings on the Viet Nam war in the Seventies; he proved it during the 2004 election against George Bush, when he refused to reveal his complete record concerning the “medals” of valor that he was awarded while serving in Viet Nam; and he proved it recently when he implied that our service men and women were in Iraq because they were not smart enough to do anything else.

Indeed his record of criticizing our troops is long, vituperative, insulting, wrong headed and foolish. So, for this latest gaff he and his party will pay a price in votes from those of us who served in the military. Certainly, President Bush was right on target when he said the remarks were “insulting and shameful.” I would add, unfeeling and nasty.

I mean, who is this guy, anyway?

How can anyone take Mr. Kerry seriously anywhere, anytime. He is, in fact, one of many of our shallow, elected officials, especially those in U.S. Senate, who parades around like a Roman Patrician, doing nothing but posturing most of the time, and like many in the Senate he is just another rich kid who is not content to lounge around in the comfort of one of his many houses of retreat and pleasure. He would rather lounge around the White House.

Forget about it Senator; why don’t you just take a hike to the top of Mount Everest “…because it is there.” That will at least keep you out of trouble and out of the public eye in which you continuously poke sticks.

And please, please no apologies, for we all know that most, if not all, of what you say is fatuous and politically expedient.
